A.W. Todd Center
The A.W. Todd Center is a large community center open to all of the residents of Russellville, Alabama. The facility includes a large banquet room with room for 450 people and a display room containing memorabilia from former Alabama Agriculture Commissioner A.W. Todd’s career. The facility also includes the Senior Centre, which offers activities for Franklin County area senior adults, and a farmer’s market.

Community Spirit’s Arts and Entertainment Center
This community center is located in Red Bay, Alabama and features a large banquet room, garden room and theatre. The center plays host to many community events, including business meals, receptions, Christmas parties, church dinners, seminars and more. The Bay Tree Council of Performing Arts (BTCPA) presents several plays each year in the theatre.

Many of the attractions in the Shoals area, which covers Colbert and Lauderdale Counties in North Alabama, is thirty minutes from Franklin County. Area attractions include the Alabmaa Music Hall of Fame, W.C. Handy Home and Museum, Ivy Green (Birthplace of Helen Keller), and the Children's Museum of the Shoals.
